extremely doubtful that apple will cover a cdrom damaged by a (from the
sound of it) warez copy of their software - if in fact that is what it
is, what is the point of putting a paper label on it and everything?

not struck by lightning

2002-09-02 Thread Greg Gilmore

Can anyone give me possible reasons that the battery indicator in the menu
bar of my G-4/667/OS 9.2 takes so long to indicate that the charger is
plugged in? And why, even when "lightning strikes", i.e. the indicator
finally kicks in with the lightning icon, the power adapter plug doesn't
turn amber, like it's supposed to? (No, the battery is not completely
charged when this is happening. Even the green doesn't appear to glow nearly
as brightly as it used to when the battery is fully charged.)

Thanks,

gg
