Hi,
Just trying to dispel some rumors on a mail list, is this true?:

"Whatever you do, avoid Linksys. They are a 100% anti-Mac company. No
Mac user should EVER buy their products. They offer no Mac support and
will
even void your warranty if you have an equipment problem and they find
out you use a Mac."
Thanks,
Peter Grenier

Airport is the only option with a iBook.

Yes, they call it the "Wireless Access Filter" in the setup utility.

The only advantage is you will have less tax to pay on your bank
accounts.
I just replaced an AirPort BS and a Linksys Router(paid $425 total)
with a Netgear MR314 ($60 after rebate) Better reception with my
TiBook. Setup may be more difficult, but it is via browser and the
router supports AppleTalk. Netgear supports Macs, so there is tech
support.

The WallStreet sleep issue involved not waking from sleep because of a
magnet in the IBM (IIRC) drive tripping the reed switch in the 'book
casing. You couldn't wake the 'book at all.
According to my WallStreet user's manual you had to press a key to wake
the book, as I remembered.
