Pismo and am so glad that its FUNctional life will be extended. What/where
is the URL of your review? For a non-techy type that website is kind of

It only sems to let me share what is in the Public folder.  It won't believe
that any other volumes are mounted.

Under the Apple icon next to File   it should say Apple DVD Player- you
control it from there ... sounds like an incredible movie.

Does a 30 GB Expansion Bay Hard Drive for 1999  2000 PowerBook G3,
refurbished for $119 sound like a good idea?

That includes the Pismo, right?

It's part of the Smartdisk deal mentioned a bit ago...

Do you just insert it in the expansion port and start using it or does it
need to be activated in some way?

Pismo upgrade question

What is the 'reborn' Newer Technology companies web address. If the price
for the upgrade is the same I think that I would rather have someone else do
soldering inside my pismo. I have soldered pipe joints before but they ended
up looking nasty!

Yes they do... I bought one a year ago for 20 bucks and it was very well
