Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2005 20:01:05 -0500 Subject: BTI Battery woes From: Kevin Bellerose [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have a replacement battery in my Pismo, it was supposedly ~6 months old, it was holding a 3 + hour charge up until a few days ago now it is stuck @ 9%. Do batteries usually die this fast any suggestions to try and breathe some life into it? Thanks, Kevin Kevin, I've had two original Apple batteries for my Pisom since I got it in 2000, both lasted and performed great until July when one of them started losing charge faster, so I switched to the other as the main battery and about a month ago, it too is losing charge very quickly. I only get about 90 minutes from each battery now. Yet, from what I have read around the 'net, these cells lasted longer than the average. However to answer your question, they did seem to work find then die suddenly, rather than gradually. Scott -- G-Books is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and...
