So if the V2 adapter is transmitting at 66', will the V.1 earpiece work at that distance or be limited to 33'? Not to confuse Bluetooth version with USB versions. You are limited by the shortest ranged version, the short one could recieve the signal but transmitting wouldn't make it. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. -- G-Books is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and... Bluetooth Q
I've got a bluetooth question for someone knowledgeable. I am using a G4 Ti book. I'd like to have a better voip connection with Skype and go 'wireless' . So if the V2 adapter is transmitting at 66', will the V.1 earpiece work at that distance or be limited to 33'? Not to confuse Bluetooth version with USB versions. I suppose the V.2 earpieces won't be long before introduction so I could wait, but the price is right now for V.1 earpieces. The other variable I may have is that I only have USB 1.1 on my book, unless I use a USB 2.0 Cardbus (which I have) and plug into that. So not sure if I may get a bottleneck with the factory usb speed but that's another issue. TIA Dave -- G-Books is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and... Yeah - that was intended to Dave off list... my apologies to the list. Now I'll crawl into my cave.
