CCC Truble.

2004-02-13 Thread invicta
Hello All,

Today I cloned with the help of CCC one iMac Rev C 400 MHz running OS X
v.10.3 on a FlatPannel 15 800 MHz iMac running also OS X v. 10.3
Everything went smoothly and CCC reported after 45 minutes that the job
was done.

When I restarted the target machine ( FlatPannel ) everything looked
alright and the window opened, asking for Name and Password. When these
were entered the machine 'shuddered' and stayed where it was. When we
checked the source machine, Name and Password opened the HD without
'shuddering'. Is this a joke? How to get around it?

TIA and greetings, Andre.

I'm not sure I understand where you cloned on the flat panel. Did you
replace the current operating or to a different disk partition? If you
replaced the system disk, then it is no surprise that things got messed up!
I don't know what to suggest...

The shudder means wrong name and password in case you weren't clear
about that...

At the risk of being insulting, did you make sure the Caps Lock key
wasn't down?
