My guess is that the video streaming is where the requirements for  
the 500MHz G3 are coming from. Price of progress I guess. My 3 year  
old 17" powerbook doesn't have enough muscle to play any of the HD  
QuickTime streams.

I have 5.0...is there an intermediate step or can I go directly to 6?  
Imac SE 400 10.4.2 1gig ram
