Mail toolbar

When you are in the New Message window, go to View- Customize Toolbar... This gives you the option of putting Plain/Rich Text in the toolbar. Mail toolbar
Two questions: (1) I just upgraded to Tiger last week. Before I was used to the new appearance of Mail, I think I deleted something in the appearance. I have the toolbar portion across the top. Below that is the mailbox column on the left and the emails received on the right, with the highlighted email opened below it. I think I deleted something that should be either just above or just below the panel that the toolbar is in. Can someone tell me what that would be? (2) It seems like we used to have an option to have an icon for rich text in the tool bar, so that we can sort of toggle between created a rich text email and a plain text email. I cannot find this option without going into Preferences and changing it. Most of my replies to these lists are bouncing. Claire: Just before you send off a new message or a reply, you can toggle between Make Plain Text and Make Plain Text under the Format Menu.
