Jason, you'll need to make sure that the ownership for this folder is
set to you. Open the terminal and do the following:
# cd /path/to/where/the/directory/is
# ls -al
Check the third column. It should have your username as the owner of
the folder. If not, type the following:
# sudo chown yourusernamehere:staff nameoffolder
enter your password at the prompt.
To get rid of the lock, type the following:
# sudo chflags nouchg,noschg nameof folder
