I looked at the 15 and 17 but in the end bought a 12 and have been
enjoying it since. I use a Booq bag that is great and holds the laptop
vertical instead of the normal horizontal so I find it easy to carry
around.

Is the resolution of the 12" PB ( 1024 x 768 ) limiting the resolution ( 1280 x 854 ) of the 20" monitor, when run in desktop mode with the 12". If so what are the disadvantages ?

Andre.
