Hello all. I have a problem and would like your help.
I am trying to fix up a Wallstreet II, (OS 9.1, 64mb ram, 8gb hard disk) and use I tunes v2.0.4 on it. When I installed it I got an error message that says my hard disk and built in cd ROM drive does not support digital data extraction from internal audio cd's. When I manually import music into my I tunes Library, I get the following message: "Your computer does not support digital data extracted from internal audio cd's. Digital data extraction has been disabled." The import button is grayed out. I can add music to my I tunes library if I hook up a portable FireWire cd/r. I assume I should be able to do same, if I hook up a portable SCSI cd/r or cd. Has any one run into to this problem? Is their a way to use the cd module for the Wallstreet with I tunes? I am not looking for the ability to hook up to a iPod, just rip and listen to some music on my laptop while I work.
