Re: pine wood derby

2005-02-20 Thread Richard Smykla
Michael & Sharon,
I just became aware of an application that might help you manage your
derby. The developers are French, but here's a roughly translated
(via Google) version of the web page with some screenshots:

<http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.racecontrol-timing.com%2Ffr%2Fxcross%2Findex.html&langpair=fr%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=%2Flanguage_tools>
Looks interesting, and there's a downloadable demo. They indicate
they'll have an English version of the page soon.

HTH,
Rick
has any one used there macs to run a Pine Wood Derby or have you
seen any software for Macs to run a Pine Wood Derby

All,
Hmm, when I launch the jar file I get the following written to my crash log:
"crashdump: Unable to determine CPSProcessSerNum pid: 636 name: java"
Not sure how to proceed from here. . . anyone know? Maybe I'll try
compiling from source and see if that goes. . .
