I just started up the Lombard with the bad L2 cache to check the
keyboard and noticed that I didn't get the "problem detected with L2
cache" message during startup.
I've got this message before on this machine and don't know why I didn't
get it this time.
The "external cache" entry under system profiler still shows as "not
installed" so it hasn't fixed itself.....
