sudden death wallstreet
A while back I accidently ejected the battery on my Wallstreet just after pushing the power button, before the screen even lit ( wall cord not plugged in ). Now my previously-fine Wallstreet is as dead as Julius Caesar. Any suggestions? _ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! But there are specific specific steps for each machine. The following URL will take you to a page that explains every PMU reset for each model of PowerBook, ibook, etc. I'd advise looking up the steps for your PB. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449#faq8 Good Luck, Bob -- If replying privately, please include my name in the To: address, so that my filters won't send your reply to the trash. -- G-Books is sponsored by http://lowendmac.com/ and... Re: sudden death wallstreet
Plug it in, reset the PMU using shift-fn-ctrl-power, and then press the power button to start up. If that doesn't work, try doing the same thing without a battery inserted. Note that Wallstreets can sometimes take over a minute to begin the boot-up process.
