Please correct me if i am wrong- but this passage is not among the 
surviving Qumran manuscripts is it?

Nope.  The nearest is 2:14-16, which seems to be more of a paraphrase than a 
biblical text.  It's in 4Q481a, also called 4QApocryphe d'Elisee, and you can 
find it in DJD 22, page 307.  If you got my book, you'd know that ;-)

CD 8.20-21 doesnt say anything about 2 Ki 2.  It simply mentions 
Elisha's name and that in connection with Gehazi.
