Could you use another word > processor instead of WriteNow? WriteNow has been 32-bit clean since version 3.0 (I'm using 4.0, which IIRC has had some kind of update applied as well.) Since I switched over to a single USB keyboard and trackball, rather than the daisy-chained pair on ADB, I haven't had a freeze, but it's only a couple of days and I haven't done any heavy data entry lately. Interestingly, the machine seems a bit more responsive - could be my imagination. The Logitech optical USB track ball is way better than my old ADB Kensington, but the cheapie USB keyboard I have is not as nice as the keyboard II. Try openoffice for PPC. If the problems stop then there you go. Best possible graphics card for MDD G4?
Hi guys, first time posting! Anyone know what the best possible graphics card a dual 1.42GHz MDD G4 (FW800) can support is? A little bit of thermal paste can go a long way. It does make a huge difference when it comes to cooling.
