The Radeon 7500 is not flashable to mac - no one ever succeeded as far
as I know - the 9800 is the easiest flash.

Web Browsing Woes

2012-05-04 Thread skyking...@verizon.net
Lately I have noticed that many web sites which I formerly accessed with no
problem now take forever to load if they load at all. The only commonality
seems to be the use of Open Type fonts in these web pages; the Activity
command reports the download of many items of the form
data:font/opentype;base64 cancelled when I attempt to access these pages.
What's going on here?

Browser is Safari 4.1.3, OS is 10.4.11

System specs:

Machine Name: Power Mac G4

  Machine Model: PowerMac3,6

  CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (3.3)

  Number Of CPUs: 2

  CPU Speed: 1.25 GHz

L2 Cache (per CPU): 256 KB

L3 Cache (per CPU): 2 MB

  Memory: 1.5 GB

  Bus Speed: 167 MHz

  Boot ROM Version: 4.4.8f2

Having any other difficulties/slowness?

What plug-ins do you have installed?

Have you tried clearing your kernel, system, app, and font caches?

Have you tried clearing your Safari caches, cookies, and previews?

Do the above, then when you hit a problem, tell us the exact url.
