Re: Airport/Time Capsule base station firmware update

Looks like a worthwhile update but is it worth hauling the hardware to a different location? On MacUpdate it says you can update the Airport firmware to 7.6.3 using Airport Utility 5.6 and greater, and my PPC G5 w/10.5.8 has Airport Utility 5.6.1, so evidently you CAN update the firmware from older PPC Macs. can *anyone* advise on Flash PPC problem??
1.8 DP G5/Leopard PPC. Flash stopped working on OmniWeb when I installed Leopard Webkit, which I've now uninstalled. Does anyone know why this happens? I even reinstalled OmniWeb, no Flash. I even copied my known good fake version of Flash 11.5 and placed it inside OmniWeb. That version the OmniWeb prefs read as invalid, and the version in Library it reads as registered---but not loaded. In any case, no dice, no Flash on Youtube. Why Why Why? Can anyone imagine a fix? -- -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs. With Flash malware in the wild now that's aimed at OS X users, and with Adobe's recent emergency updates I don't understand why more sites aren't moving quicker to HTML5 and ditching buggy Flash? Even Adobe has said Flash is dead on mobile, which means Flash is dead period, so what's the delay in ditching Flash? -- -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
