Dan, I have signed up for the Mac Pro group and received the google group email. However, I have not received any Mac Pro emails. I'm moving from this list (g3-5) to the Mac Pro and have some questions but don't know how to get into the group. Would love some help! or anyone else . . . In case this goes directly through: my lovely 22" Mac Cinemas screen needs a ADC to div connector for the Mac Pro. I'm thinking that I might can get a monitor for under $200 instead of paying $100 for the connector. But I'm very nervous about buying some other 22" monitor. Mike, I am going to upgrade to SM 2.0.2 but just haven't had the time to work out the kinks so I'm still on 1.1.18. I have a really long list of emails so I don't want to right click on each one. I want to get the whole list into my address book. Does anyone here use SeaMonkey? If so, have you upgraded to 2.02? I tried at 2.01 and was appalled by my experience (can't really remember what didn't work now). How do you find it? Does anyone have any suggestions for what might be causing my browser to operate extremely slowly? I have checked with Qwest and done speed test showing that I am receiving 3mb at my Modem. My Ping test shows no packet loss but 96 ms rather than below 50. I have installed the optimized version for a G4 of SeaMonkey. This has changed in the last week and I have no idea why. Qwest sent us a new modem. browser question
I use SeaMonkey as my browser and for some reason it has drastically slowed down. I tried rebuilding the desktop with Disk Warrior 3.o.3 which had no effect. Forgive me for my lapse but would it help to download SM again? Do I just throw the other one away once I have downloaded the new one?
