Archiving difficulty
I tried walking my intimate through the archiving process. That is, highlight a folder containing jpgs and FileArchive. Both on her machine (iBook G4) and my Mini (G4) both 10.4.11 an empty, un-named Archive.zip file is created rather than a FolderName.zip file. Selecting a small number of the contained photos and Archiving them, that is, Archiving smaller groups of jpgs rather than an entire folder I have certainly Archived Folders (usually .xls files) before. And used Stuffit in OS 9 which had not problem with large compressions. Am I missing something? thanks Cliff Love's Point Caretaker Blog: http://4lovespoint.wordpress.com/ (last update 7/1) SC Visual Diary Blog: http://peace-gardens.us/ (updated regularly) --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs. Well, I don't have a 10.4 system to test this but on my 10.5 system I just did this, and an Archive.zip file was created, but it had the pictures in it.
