Joan,

I bought a monitor just like this one from this eBay vendor a few
months ago, and have nothing but good things to say about it:
http://tinyurl.com/29ny9wj

I have not been able to find such a big, great quality monitor at this
kind of price anywhere else. You may also want to check Buy.com --they
tend to have great deals on displays.

Oh, and by the way: this is NOT spam --I have nothing to gain either
way if you buy from any of those vendors.

Hope this helps!

Best,

Felix

Just a thought: would a G5 videocard (AGP or PCI) with an ADC port fit
in this MacPro? Or don’t such cards exist?
And, if this is possible, what would be the drop in performance?

Go to a big box store (like Best Buy) where you can see dozens of
monitors running side by side and pick the one you like (I settled on
a Samsung) then shop around for the best price on that specific model.

Dan,

I have signed up for the Mac Pro group and received the google group
email. However, I have not received any Mac Pro emails. I'm moving from
this list (g3-5) to the Mac Pro and have some questions but don't know
how to get into the group. Would love some help! or anyone else . . .
In case this goes directly through: my lovely 22 Mac Cinemas screen

VueScan makes good monitors; HP's better quality monitors are pretty nice, as
are Dells (Dell has historically used the same guts for their 30 monitors that
Apple did, and often sold for less)

If you can find a VIZIO 26 you'll be pleasantly satisfied with style and
function.
