That's what Patchburn for 10.3 would help it do, if I'm not mistaken. It helped me on a PPC 8500 under Xpostfacto & Panther 10.3.9 with a Yamaha CDRW. Could be mistaken ... its been awhile since I used it to fix the burn/ vis-ability. The CD2200E is from way, way back in the 4416E days ... a contemporary of the last of the pre-G3 PPC Macs and the first G3 PPC Macs (the "S" version would apply to the pre-G3 Macs, whereas the "E" version would apply to the G3 Macs). Need help Yahama CRW2200 burner
Hi List, I installed a Yamaha 2200E burner in a B&W G3 with OS9.2.2 & OSX10.3.9. It reads CD's OK, but is not seen as burner by NeroMAX Ver 1.6.5 or Toast Titanium 5, which came with it. I set it to Master because if set as slave it is not seen at all. I have spent a couple of hours looking for drivers on web with no good results. I believe my B&W MoBd is rev. 1. Any help will be appreciated.
