If you'd mention the OS you're using, and the specific configuration,  
for example CPU speed, and RAM amount, this would be a good start.  
Also, what specific application are you using that is so slow? Is it  
slow in all other applications, or just the one?

When asking for computer help, it's best to be as specific as possible  
in the 1st request, erring toward too much information rather than too  
little.

is my mac afflicted?

how do i find out what is wrong with my mac g3 b&W which will not erase the 
sentence without moving slow,the highlighter doesn't cover without displacing 
or write in the subject bar without displacing and writing the remainder on the 
body. In some instances it will displace the sentence around and then be 
annoyingly difficult to rewrite. it took an hour to write my resume to send it 
out. can i get some hep pleease?
