Dreams Of Parents ( Read This Article ) Click here:http://bit.ly/9kMs5 dreams of parents A simple man tells how his booking an air ticket for his father, his first flight, brought emotions and made him realize that how much we all take for granted when it comes to our parents. My parents left for our native place on Thursday and we went to the airport to see them off. In fact, my father had never traveled by air before, so I just took this opportunity to make him experience the same. In spite of being asked to book tickets by train, I got them tickets on Flight. The moment I handed over the tickets to him, he was surprised to see that I had booked them by air. The excitement was very apparent on his face, waiting for the time of travel. Just like a school boy, he was preparing himself on that day and we all went to the airport, right from using the trolley for his luggage, the baggage check-in and asking for window seat and waiting restlessly for the security check-in to happen. He was thoroughly enjoying himself and I, too, was overcome with joy watching him experience all these things. As they were about to go in for the security check-in, he walked up to me with tears in his eyes and thanked me. He became very emotional and it was not as if I had done something great but the fact that this meant a great deal to him. When he said thanks, I told him there was no need to thank me. But later, thinking about the entire incident, I looked back at my life. As a child how many dreams our parents have made come true. Without understanding the financial situation, we ask for football, dresses, toys, outings, etc. Irrespective of their affordability, they have satisfied to all our needs. Did we ever think about the sacrifices they had to make to accommodate many of our wishes? Did we ever say thanks for all that they have done for us? Same way, today when it comes to our children, we always think that we should put them in a good school. Regardless of the amount of donation, we will ensure that we will have to give the child the best, theme parks, toys, etc. But we tend to forget that our parents have sacrificed a lot for our sake to see us happy, so it is our responsibility to ensure that their dreams are realized and what they failed to see when they were young, it is our responsibility to ensure that they experience all those and their life is complete. Many times, when my parents had asked me some questions, I have actually answered back without patience. When my daughter asks me something, I have been very polite in answering. Now I realize how they would have felt at those moments. Let us realize that old age is a second childhood and just as we take care of our children,the same attention and same care need to be given to our parents and elders. Rather than my dad saying thank you to me, I would want to say sorry for making him wait so long for this small dream. I do realize how much he has sacrificed for my sake and I will do my best to give the best possible attention to all their wishes. Just because they are old does not mean that they will have to give up everything and keep sacrificing for their grandchildren also. They have wishes, too. Not long after, the piano teacher was given the task to Organize a piano concert in town. She sent out circulars to invite the Students and public to attend the event. Suddenly, she received a call from Robby who offered to take part in the concert. The teacher told Robby that He was not good enough and that he was no longer a student since he had Stopped coming for lessons. Robby begged her to give him a chance and Promised that he would not let her down. Finally, she gave in and she put him to play last, hoping that he will Change his mind at the last minute. When the big day came, the hall was Packed and the children gave their best performance. Finally , It was Robby's Turn to play and as his name was announced, he walked in. He was not in Proper attire and his hair was not properly groomed. The teacher was really Nervous since Robby's performance could spoil the whole evening's brilliant Performance. As Robby started playing the crowd became silent and was amazed At the skill of this little boy. In fact, he gave the best performance of The evening. At the end of his presentation the crowd and the piano teacher Gave him a standing ovation. The crowd asked Robby how he managed to play so Brilliantly. With a microphone in front of him, he said, "I was not able to Attend the weekly piano lessons as there was no one to send me because my Mother was sick with cancer. She just passed away this morning and I wanted Her to hear me play. You see, this is the first time she is able to hear me Play because when she was alive she was deaf and now I know she is listening To me. There were more than 2.21 million mobile telephone lines by the end of the year compared to 1.83 million lines in 2005. *** The landlines and fax lines reached 547,375 compared to 520,249 in 2005. The public transport buses in Dubai carried 87.840 million passengers compared to 84.26 million in 2005. *** A record number of 12,385 babies were born in government hospitals, of which 6,292 were males and 6,039 females. Dubai recorded 2,663 marriages in addition to 908 divorces. *** A total of 28.789 million passengers used the Dubai International Airport compared with 24.782 million in 2005. A total of 35,380 vessels called at Dubai ports, an increase of two per cent over the previous year. *** Dubai has 220 schools during the academic year 2006-07. Out of this, 88 are government schools and 132 are in the private sector. During 2006, 11,536 new licenses were issued, including 8,585 were trade licenses, 1,998 were professional licenses, 194 industrial licenses. *** The total number of stocks traded on the Dubai Financial Market in 2006 was 39.644 billion, worth AED347.98 billion compared to 25.54 billion shares worth AED405.16 billion in 2005. *** Dubai imported goods worth AED219.871 billion during 2006, while the export figures stood at AED18.258 billion and the re-export figures were AED78.309 billion. The free zones imported goods worth AED122.763 billion and exported goods worth AED84.323 billion in 2006. *** Dubai hosted as many as 88 exhibitions and conferences attracting a total of 984,638 visitors and delegates. Dubai also hosted 23 conferences which were attended by 52,660 delegates. *** The electricity produced last year rose to 20,314 gigawatt hours and the number of consumer connections reached 339,900. She kept telling friends and relatives that Li-Li was the best daughter-in-law one could ever find. Li-Li and her mother-in-law were now treating each other like a real mother and daughter. Li-Li's husband was very happy to see what was happening. One day, Li-Li came to see Mr. Huang and asked for his help again She said, "Dear Mr. Huang, please help me to keep the poison from killing my mother-in-law.
