Re: [Audyssey] Problems with GTC scoring.

2006-08-11 Thread Thomas Ward
It is possible, but that is kind of dumb to take away points because you
got damaged. I guess it is next to impossible to get on to a score board
if you lose points. Those on the score boards must be fricking masters
never taking a scratch. I can't can't even come close to some of those
scores yet.

Hi, Phil.
Well, actually I had disabled he trucks to get the ammo, but while
getting the ammo I ran in to them and blew them to kingdom come. Of
course, I was under fire at the time and it was a hit and run attack
and I needed to take out the enemy who was firing on me.

Re: [Audyssey] headphones on play station portable

2006-08-11 Thread Brandon Cole
Well, I have a huge problem with earbuds. I absolutely hate them. So I'm
biased. Haha. I'd blame the earbuds. However, you can also turn the PSP
volume up. Just in front of the PSP's screen is a row of buttons. The one
all the way on the left is the home button, and the ones to the right of
that are the volume down and volume up buttons in that order. Hope that
helps.
Sincerely,

Yeah, and you know if I had written the original game I would definitely think
very hard about making the changes suggested. They do sound good. I just kind

truthfully it is much harder to figure out and change someone else's work than
it is your own work.

His Email was as helpful as it could have been. If he does not know when

Hey sorry Rich. I'm luck to get green dragon and a game or two of blast
chamber in as it is.
You just don't have enough time for all of those games that are out there.

Re: [Audyssey] Problems with GTC scoring.

2006-08-11 Thread Phil Vlasak
Hi Tom,
One other way you can lose points on sector two is by blowing up one of the
ammo trucks by mistake.
But the enemy tanks can also blow up one of their trucks if it is in their
way and their doing this can affect your points.
Did you find and disarm the three ammo trucks without blowing them up?
 Phil

you can finnish it with the bugs.
email me off list if you need a full sollution file or ask damon of
x-sight as he has finnished it.
It can be finnished but if you don't do everything in order stuff
will not play right.
The thing is that if you do stuff wrongly, even if you have not
finnished but have what you need to complete the game without doing
stuff.
Well you lose a lot of the plot.
The game is smart enough to know when you have used something that
will not be needed anymore though.
There are 3 bugs really.
well 4.
Its impossible to interupt speech, restore a game from a save, or
quit without diing.
Its also not possible to be able to move around the menus at a fast
pace.

Re: [Audyssey] jim's trucker game

2006-08-11 Thread Jim Kitchen
Hi Mark and Bean,

I did not write the original trucker game. It was written by Hughes Glantzberg
in 1985. There was also a version done by Bill Pogue named Big Rig that was
very popular with blind gamers. All I have done is to take the source code and
add sounds. And then later convert it to a windows text version and now the
latest version is a text to speech version. I really do not want to change the
game from it's original play. Hope you understand.

BTW I also did not write the original golf game. There also I just took the
source code and added sounds etc. With the golf game I have added some other
features, but the game play is still the same.

All of the rest of the games on my site I did write totally from scratch.

BFN

 Jim

Re: [Audyssey] Gaming Section Live!

2006-08-11 Thread ari
And their's another good point here. By doing it with games, it mainly
reaches young people, so sighted young people will start to have better
awareness of blind young people's skills through them playing games
together. Do we somehow draft something that we can send to major blind
organisations? Do we then also need translators for whatever we draft?
