[Audyssey] Questions about the game Mississippi

2006-08-23 Thread Matthew Bullis
Hello, since the developers are on this list, I thought I'd ask the
questions here. I enjoy your new game Mississippi, which for those who don't
know is available from
www.Mar-DY.com
and plan to buy it really soon. The demo only goes for a certain length of
game years, but how long does the full game go for? Upto what year can I
play in the game? Also, when I'm buying and selling, does it do any good to
buy and sell something, and then buy and sell something else? I haven't
quite figured out when to continue to the next round. Also, could you
explain the uses of the various things you can buy, and who buys them? Are
you supposed to buy everything you can afford, then go to the next round,
and see how it has gone? Do you use the goods for anything other than to
fill up your rooms and to sell off? Also, you mention being able to interact
with people in the town, hire drivers, inspect wagons, and other things. I
played the whole demo and didn't find these things anywhere. Are they in the
demo, or did I miss something somewhere? Also, in future versions, will you
be updating the word kontor to branch office?
Thanks a lot.
Matthew

Re: [Audyssey] cell phone games

2006-08-23 Thread Lisa Leonardi
Does this cell phone software work with all cell phones, or is it only meant
to wirk with a few models? I've been doing some research and have only found
stuff that works with particular models sold by particular cell phone
providers. I already have a provider, a cell phone, and would love to make
it talk so I can do more than just the basic sending and receiving calls.
Especially play games! It'd be great to have something to pass the time like
that.

Hi, Allan. I think he was saying that we could count the PSP as a portable
game. PSP is the Play Station Portable. It can play movies and games. I
think that there are some games that were not made accessible on purpose,
but have enough audio that they can be accessible. HTH

What did you mean by the statement that we know have games for the game boy?
Is there accessible gameboy games out there? Been out of the loop for a

Hi Chris and all,

instead of kontor you can say "branch" or "branch office".
In the game it means a part of your office in a specific town where
you can order goods from.

Re: [Audyssey] new computergame - Mississippi

2006-08-23 Thread Marco Steinebach - Mardy
Hi Richard and all,
> Back in 2004 there was already a German-language version of Mississippi :
> Is the German version still available? And is this version very different
> from the German version or is it exactly the same?
In 2006 we have translated the game. So you can now decide to install
and play the german or the english version. Booth versions are the
same, we have just translated the output of the game.
Booth, the english and the german version, are in one file.
There are two links to the german and the english pages at the moment.
For the german website:
http://www.odissa.de/ODISSAspektrum/game/miss.html
and for the english website:
http://mar-dy.com/mardycom/mississippi/miss.html
The download-link now is:
http://www.mar-dy.com/programme/Mississippi_Setup.exe
The Demo-Version no longer uses "low quality"-Sounds, it's the same
installation file as the full version. It ends after four years and
you can only use one game in the Casino, that are the restrictions of
the demo version.
Since 2004 we made some updates and fixed several bugs in the game.

To update the audiogames-Website, is there something I can do?

Best regards
Marco
