Re: [Audyssey] cell phone games
I THINK you are talking about the nokia 66 82, that's what i'm using. if you have verison in your city, check them out for the package. i love that phone it works fine, but i can't play any of the games on the coad factory site, because it's for older phones. take care. - Original Message - From: Richard Sherman [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Tuesday, August 22, 2006 8:55 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] cell phone games Hello Gamers, I too was looking to maybe play games on my cell phone. I currently have Cingular as my provider and one of their agents gave me some info so this is what I was told. I called the following: disability department @ singular Tel #: 1-866-241-6568 I talked to a representative there and this is what I found. Currently singular has only one model, the Nokia 6620, has a program called talks software from nuance corp. For more info about this software can be found at: nuance.com According to what I was told you have to purchase the phone which will cost over $200 and then another $200 for the software. You can probably only get this phone thru their disability dept. You may be able to find the newer model phone Nokia 6680 (I think that is the correct model #) in a local store but cannot run the software. The phone comes preloaded with version 2 which will not play games. you can go to the nuance website and download an update which will play some games. I would definitely give them a call for more information. I am not sure what other carriers offer at this time. Take care and happy gaming. sorry both the mobile phone screen readers only work with cynbian phones. if you google for talks or mobilespeak you can get a list of phones that work with the software. I've been doing some research and have only found stuff that works with particular models sold by particular cell phone providers. I already have a provider, a cell phone, and would love to make it talk so I can do more than just the basic sending and receiving calls. Especially play games! From reading the descriptions on the code factory website one is like simon called tone master. Go to the code factory website and look for cell phone games for more info. what about skype or ventrillo? Just a suggestion I am a member of ftp so that's not a problem for me. But I cannot see any game of Monopoly being played through Email. It would just take an impractical amount of time. The game should be played in real time only, in my opinion. Re: [Audyssey] I'm getting unsubscribed from the list
Hi. Normally I do not reply to messages like this here on list. However I did try emailing Robin privately to try and work things out and my message bounced with an inappropriate content error by her mail server. My message originated from asmodean.asmotec.com which is not related to the audyssey.org mail server. So the reason I'm sending this is in the hopes that someone here on list who can reach Robin can email her letting her know it's not on our end meaning the audyssey.org mail server which has the problem but her mail server is rejecting mail. If anyone can reach her please feel free to copy me privately and perhaps we can go from there off list. Thanks to all. * Robin Kipp [EMAIL PROTECTED] [060826 07:51]: Hello, Now I got unsubscribed from the list twice already.
