Hi Damien,
Well, the short version of the story is copyright issues. I felt since I
would be selling the game that it would be better to change some
elements including the name to retain full copyright over the product.

Hi,

And a suggestion, different music for each level.
End quote

This is something we would like to see done as well, but having several
different music tracks licensed for the game would be extremely
expensive. Actually, assuming we did 11 different tracks, one for each
level, the licensing fees would be more than we have currently earned in
all our sales to date. So I am sure you can see why we haven't
introduced allot of variation in the music yet.

Can't wait to try beta 8.
End quote

Oh, I am sure Beta 8 will be a real treat for registered users. It has
several bug fixes, levels 1-5 have been updated with some miner tweeks
here and there, and it also includes level 6.
Hth.

[Audyssey] inventory problem revisited

2007-12-10 Thread nicol
Phil you said in a message to the pcs games list that too many inventory
items might cause the game to crash.
I'm unsure which items to drop, what about all those items found in the room

And I dropped all my items but still the game crashes.
The game crash if I move in my inventory past the library books, so when I
was dropping all my items the moment I dropped the next thing after all the

 Hi Nicol,
You have discovered a major bug!
Just like Harry potter, right now Sarah has to stay in mermaid shape for
 an
entire hour and if she goes back she suffocates.
Although this is true to the book I do not want people to have to sit in
 the
lake an entire hour if they can get out earlier.
I will have to think about this a bit.
I could have a magical item in the lake like anti gillyweed that
 transforms
 her back to a human,
or I could have her use the water spell to change her.
This second idea would be easier to do as I would not need to add any new
 objects.
I could say she points her wand at her gills and that gives her enough
 water
to breathe until the gillyweed spell wears off.
When I was testing the lake out I turned off the gillyweed function, and
 did
 not test it after.
Looks like I need to do a little more programming.

[Audyssey] bop it ultimate

2007-12-10 Thread Ken the Crazy
I only have one complaint about this game: the twist it sounds and spin it
sounds should be reversed so that the twist it sounds in this game are the
twist it sounds in the real bop it game--that keeps throwing me off. I'd also
like to see configurable keys--using the number pad keys makes more sense to me
than flinging my hands all across the keyboard. Okay I guess that's two
complaints. Anyway, really like the game, especially the trick bop. Haven't
gotten to ping pong yet but I'll try tonight.

[Audyssey] bop it ultiomate, comment and question

2007-12-10 Thread Ken the Crazy
One more comment about Bop it: you might consider a shared directory for all
your programs so that once you've configured it for one, you don't have to run
it for each additional program--a shared directory plus optional individual
directories if people do want different configs for each program. Question:
when I play this game, and run other software as well, I keep getting the
windows installer trying to install a program I don't even use or have any
more. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling msiexe a few times, and it seems
to work until I restart the computer, but it's not permanent. It's getting
really annoying really fast. Any ideas? I keep escaping out of this game
trying to bypass the prompts. Oh yes, an are you sure message before quitting
would be handy.

I only have one complaint about this game: the twist it sounds and spin it
sounds should be reversed so that the twist it sounds in this game are the
twist it sounds in the real bop it game--that keeps throwing me off. I'd
also like to see configurable keys--using the number pad keys makes more
sense to me than flinging my hands all across the keyboard. Okay I guess
that's two complaints. Anyway, really like the game, especially the trick
bop. Haven't gotten to ping pong yet but I'll try tonight.

[Audyssey] bop it

2007-12-10 Thread john snowling
Hi ken and all.

I agree that the num pad or keys put together would be better rather than f5
tab left and right control enter and space bar. It takes skill getting a
good run together.

Must admit this is still a good game.

From john.

think of the opposite of pull it, and the opposite of bop it.
if you can get that right, you do it when you've reached 100.

Has anyone figured out how to get into the bop it ultimate bonus round?
Can you give me any hints on how to access it?
