[Audyssey] playstation president steps down on cnet news
Hi, I just figured this was pertanent to the list Sony announced early Monday that Phil Harrison, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios--and therefore the head of the PlayStation group--would be stepping down as of Feb. 29, 2008. No specific reason was given for Harrison's departure. Kazuo Hirai, president and group CEO of Sonly Computer Entertainment International, will assume Harrison's position. But, one can assume that Harrison may well be the latest head to roll in the wake of the poor performance of the PlayStation 3--the next-generation video game console that launched with gigantic expectations but has wallowed in third-place, trailing Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's Xbox 360. That's after Ken Kutaragi, the so-called "father" of the PlayStation, stepped down last April. That departure was widely assumed to be a result of the PS3's poor sales. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org. you need to find a file called sapisvr.exe then run it. This error is a result probably because the rec engine and sapi4 have issues then something was not run or something. find and run sapisvr.exe then it should all work. well there is another way. It envolves sacrofising sapi4 support. 1. reformat then load everything but sapi4. I don't know how to uninstall sapi4 as well as the actual api itself. And well it will work. But you can't use any sapi4 device ever. At 04:22 a.m. 26/02/2008, you wrote: >Hi Dark, >I tried your idea, but that didn't work. Hi Jeremy, USA Games is presently working on a Nascar style racing game called USA Raceway. Thanks do to major delays in production of Monte, now Mystries of the Aztecs, we have been forced time and again to push back a release date for Raceway. Re: [Audyssey] grand theft auto equivalent
Hi Nicol, No, there isn't any resemblence in what Phil is planning and Grand Theft Auto. Phil's Cops and Robbers game is more generic where you play a cop chasing down crooks and can get out of your patrol car to chase on foot. Grand Theft Auto is much more complex, violent, and has a lot more sexual content than I think Phil has in mind. Phil's game is from the cops perspective where Grand Theft Auto is about a gangsta who steels cars, and does other gang related activities from the gangsta's point of view. nicol wrote: > I think the next game phil will be working on after he is finished with > sarah might be what william is looking for. > --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] grand theft auto equivalent
That game will be similar to the driver games- at least, there's a mode in them where you can be the cop who chases the robber, both on foot or in a vehicle...this sounds fun.
