[Audyssey] klango
Hi. Well I know this stuff was mentioned a while ago on here. I have discovered through various blogs that klango has 2 parts. There is the klango game thing we are used to but then another called klango player. You can run games, play files, download audio books and stuff. And well it makes you feel like you have a apple mac. First go to www.klango.pl to get the latest game engine if you want the engine. then www.klangogames.com to get the games. www.klango.net is where the player is, most stuff can be gotten in the program If you don't care about winamp or anything well this may be cool for you. Its like another os, and its free. I hope that someone can make things like net brouser, office type programs and email type things with this. Interface is real simple. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] Games for the Blind on Nintendo's Wii
hi. there. yes it's true that u have to point and click to get in to the various channels to get in to the game itself. but it all u need is to get familiarise with the various positions of the icons on the screen and it can be done. because when u move your wii remote around the screen, and when u land on an icon there will be a short vibration on your wii mote and also u will hear a click sound. it's just a matter of practice. i have 2 friends who are blind and are enjoying wii games very much. - Original Message - From: Kelly Sapergia [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Sunday, July 06, 2008 7:18 AM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Games for the Blind on Nintendo's Wii Hi Nicol, I tried the AudiOdyssey game when it was released for Windows a few months ago. The installation program was surprisingly not accessible at all, but you can install the game by pressing Enter a few times. As for the Wii, if they've got it where you can play it on the actual console, that would be interesting. I know you can set up the Wii-mote to be used on a computer by means of Bluetooth, according to the AudiOdyssey manual, but I don't own a Wii so don't know how well that would work. I thought about getting one when they first came out, but I'm not going to because of it's interface. From what I saw of it, you have to point and click on various channels, such as disc channel to get a game going. That was just my first impression of the thing anyway. Thanks. Re: [Audyssey] Puppy1 keyboard Issues
Hi Thomas, Yeah it doesn't make sense to me either, but I have noticed that the get tick count function does seem to be a bit more precise than the timer function especially for very small amounts of time. You know like the .05 amount that I use for a timing loop in Mach 1, Pong, Homer on a Harley and Puppy1. BFN Jim Let not the sands of time get in your lunch. Re: [Audyssey] Not to brag
Hi Thomas, Thank you very much. I was also one of those who played all of the Atari 2600 games always to see if I could get a better score or a better score than a friend or relative. So yeah that is what Puppy1 is like. BFN Jim Being 'over the hill' is much better than being under it! Hi Nicol, Inno Setup is a program software developers use to create setup files for their programs. In fact, Inno is the setup tool I use for creating the setup/installers for all of my games and applications. nicol wrote: Is inosetup a separate program? --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] Kingdom of Loathing discussion.
well each boss is different. there's a boss that debuffs you, another one blocks your items, etc. if you don't want to encounter that unpleasentness, I suggest you check out the wiki. lol. You can go right out and attack the bosses physically, most of them *grin*, but as I said you'll need to buff your muscle, especially with hodgman. he hits real hard. I defeated quite a few bosses as a myst class, so I wouldn't bother switching if I were you, unless you're going for the glyphs. - Original Message - From: Shadow Dragon [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Saturday, July 05, 2008 11:54 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Kingdom of Loathing discussion. It also kind of takes some of the fun out of the dungeon if the damage isn't cumulative, since it means you have to build spacifically against the bosses. I was hoping you could do it in any build, I rather like my saucerer built with max spell damage in mind, though I'm not using effects at the moment. Ah well, I guess its a matter of preference. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org.
