Visit the Crimson Helmed Rider for seven consecutive days and he'll tell
you. I could list the location here but you won't be able to visit it
untilyou see the rider. He's in the Longspur Downs in Southern Tysa.

Hi Damien,
Smile. Welcome to the wonderful world of international business. I don't
know a single U.S. or British company that hasn't had the same
complaints about trying to open up foreign markets. It is one thing if
we are trying to open up a market between countries that use the dollar,
pound, or Euro, because all of those currencies still will bring back a
reasonable return of sale. However, in third world countries were there
currency is very week it makes equal trading practically impossible.
Fortunately for you guys in the U.K. I think the pound is still on the
silver standard. That allows your currency to keep a very high market
value, and follows trends in the trading of silver. Here in the U.S. the
powers that be took us off the gold standard in1913, and the dollar has
gone up and down in value ever since.

[Audyssey] game cracking

2008-07-28 Thread Ryan Smith
Hi,
Well I am back for now everyone. Anyway, I was reading archives and
saw Damien was trying to prevent piracy in ACE Fire. What I could do
is, in the demo, force the user to give a valid email address. Then
have VB send an email to the person, using CDO, with a code. Once the
code is accepted, write a registry entry. This way you can always
check when the program loads up for the registry entry. You can also
send an email with the user's supplied email to your email (if they
enter an email on the vb end, send it to your email). You can send
emails through CDO. I also heard about Processor serial numbers. My
older computer running XP won't give me the processor number when I
try to use a WinApi in vb to get it, it just gives me X's.
Thanks!

Adrift is very easy to use. You simply install the runner and load the
game. You do have to use your mouse pointer to review the screen because
it will not talk automatically. If you have access to a Linux shell
account, you can use scare which is an Adrift port and play the games
like that as well.

Hope this helps.

2008-07-28 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi all,
I'd also just like to mention here that there are Windows and Mac OS
Leopard versions of scare 1.3 as well for playing Adrift 4.0 games.
Generally speaking, I use scare under Linux myself, but scare for
Windows seams to work ok with Jaws and Window Eyes. I have not had an
opertunity to try the Mac port of Scare but I suspect Voice Over users
might have some troubles reviewing the screen since Voice Over is
lacking a review cursor type mode that allows you to freely browse
around the screen.

[Audyssey] Playing Adrift games with scare

2008-07-28 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
One other note. If you will be using Scare, make sure it's at least
version 1.3.7 or better. I think the current one is 1.3.9. Older
versions will not play my game correctly as well as some other ones.

Dark Destroyer
Dukc Blaster

Tic Tac Toe
Showdown
and 3d snake.
Let me know if I can offer any help

Talk soon

Hi Shaun,
If you upload it to sendspace.com, and send me the download link I'll
grab it and put it on the USA Games site. Showdown is in fact one of the
games I am missing because I lost the setup file some time back. I'd
love to get the setup file again.
