Re: [Audyssey] Rail Racer tournament was Rail Racer Key.

2009-03-24 Thread Steady Goh
Rail Racer tournament is open for signing up and round 1 will kick off on
Friday. This time will be on the 40 newly added tracks which most of them are
at high classes. Racers who are at class 10 or higher can sign up for the
tournament. Round 1 will be on blind spot which is a class 5 track and round 2
on quick reflexes, class 6. The 40 new tracks are compiled into a single zip
file. You can get it at www.blindAdrenaline.com/uploads/allOfficialTracks.zip
If you already downloaded some of the tracks from the official tracks site,
just answer no when ask if you want to replace the files.

See you on the tracks. Happy racing. Let's not continue arguing on the tini
wini thing and spend your precious time practicing instead.
Btw, the rr key is tied to a single computer. Last I heard is Che will charge a
bit for the second key.

I just got through looking at the documentation for Rail Racer and I did not
see an answer to William's question.
When I joined this list about a week ago, I really did not think that there
would be this much bickering over something so small, Really people maybe we
need to relax a little and help each other out, after all this is a game
discussion list and the question was about an accessible game.

Re: [Audyssey] rail racer key

2009-03-24 Thread Charles Rivard
Are your questions answered in the game manual or by the developer? I think
the list is here for issues that cannot be solved through common sense or
knowledge. All I did was to maybe steer you in the right direction to find
your answer, using the most commonly available avenue. There's no need to
jump on people for doing this. Simply try their advice, and, if it doesn't
get you the answer you need, then you can ask on the list after trying the
advice, plain and simple. HTH

Re: [Audyssey] rail racer key

2009-03-24 Thread Steve
I always thought that was what these sort of lists are for. I personally
work a 40 an hour a week job and so when I get home I have a inbox full of
mail, if it ever becomes a problem I just unsubscribe from that particular
list.

Just my 2 cents worth.
Thanks.

Re: [Audyssey] rail racer key

2009-03-24 Thread Constantine

Hi,

Fraid not, you can ask for a new key and Che will most likely give you a new
one.

Another question here, can I copy the xml file from one computer to another,
even though they have different keys?
Backing up player settings to the web doesn't do me much good, since its
tied to one computer, I think?

So what I'm saying is I'd like to be synchrinized with both computers.

thanks

Hi Charles,
I always play every mission on the highest level of difficulty. I
really like the fact that if you don't move slow, use surprise, stealth,
etc to your advantage those destroyers will really waiste you on the
higher difficulties. It is much more realistic and challenging that way.

Hi,
I'm looking but so far I can't seam to find it. You are talking about a
file I had gotten years ago, back when I was a new LW player myself, so
it is doubtful I have it backed up anywhere on my disks. Sorry, but I
think i must have lost or deleted it ages ago. Either that or threw out
the disks it was on. When I moved a couple of years back I pitched a lot
of back up disks, software cds, etc that were no longer current in the
dumpster so it probably got pitched when I moved. Sorry, about that.

 Hi Bryan,
Mission 1 is a snap. As you figured out you don't have to move from your
location. You basically sit there and shoot anything that crosses your
bow. That said I tend to change direction slightly to get a better aim
if a ship is still sinking and I need to get a torpedo passed it to kill
another ship coming on my port or starboard side. If I can find it,
unlikely, I had a step by step walkthrough for level 1 that gives you a
blow by blow play how to beat that level. At least one possible way to
do it without working at it too hard.

2009-03-24 Thread Anthony Vitale

Hi Thomas,
No ofence taken but I download and install all of my text games and
install other stuff which usually is no problem I figured out why I
couldn't use the combo box , now for the game I downloaded. H

thanks Tony

Hi Tony,
Yeah, that is perfectly understandable. Although, from whatI have
been reading you seam to be facing, shall we say, general computer
issues as well. I don't want to sound critical, but I get the
impression you are not a very skilled or experienced computer user.
As a result your lack of experience, skill, whatever is contributing
to the confusion or making the issue more difficult than it is for
most of us on the list.
What I am saying is in general most of the games out there are no
more difficult to install than any other Windows program weather we
are talking MSOffice, Firefox, whatever. So the fact you seam to be
having issues in this area indicates to me that maybe you don't have
a lot of experience installing programs in general. If I am way off
base here let me know, but if you are having troubles with general
installation perhaps one of us can walk you through the process.

[Audyssey] Lone Wolf progress

2009-03-24 Thread Bryan Peterson
Well I finally completed missions 1 and 2 this morning. That aircraft carrier
had been frustrating the living bejesus out of me but I finally managed to get
a targetting solution and unloaded all four torpedos into it. Turned out I only
needed two or three but I wasn't about to take any chances on it getting away
from me again. So Mission 1 was a breeze. Mission 2 was a lot more tense what
with the mine fields but I managed not to collide with any of them. I took out
the first oil platform with my deck gun but that took too long and so I took
out the others with torpedos. May have been unnecessary but ah well. Now all I
gotta do is wait for David to send me my unlock code and I can start playing
the later missions and maybe creating some of my own as well.
A cat's purr is a beautiful sound.

Thomas, maybe this needs to go to the developers list, but is their a
program that I can use to create text adventures, complex ones like the
adventure game tool kit, but for windows? if so do you know where I can get
  it, thanks.
