Hi Everyone,
I heard Ken Downey's great review of the Nintendo WII on Blind cool tech.
I have some questions for the group. The Last gaming system I had was a
Play station some of the menus could be hard to navigate. How easy are The
WII menus to navigate? Also What types of games are accessable by this I
mean fighting games, sport games, strategy games? My last question is how
accessable is the WII for a totally blind person and Is it worth it for a
totally blind person to get this system? Thank you for any help

Regards,
Steve Cullen

there is a bug in light cars which says the following:
 Light Cars
 Run-time error'9 ':
 Subscript out of range
 OK
the same happens in TreasureMania and it is also when you die and
will start the game again! Have you thought that you correct this bug at a
time?

How about SAM? Isn't SAM just a software speech synthesizer you could install

  Hi Ryan,
I use to have an Apple II E back in the day when they were still being
used, and as I recall the Echo Vox didn't come with the unit. I had to
get that as an extra upgrade. If so finding a working unit complete with
an Echo Vox might be rather difficult to find these days.

Re: [Audyssey] A2 eamon emulator

2009-04-24 Thread dark

Hi.

I've never got any messages reguarding dos and fullscreen mode, - are
you using xp or vista?

To stop the thing running in fullscreen, just press alt enter (you have to
do this several times while playing Eamon delux), and to answer your
question, no, in Eamon delux at least you can certainly read the entire
screen without any trouble.

Please see http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?id=2730 for some tips
on installing and running the program.

Hello

I've downloaded Eamon Dilux (the one included in the cd zipped download).
Under the "EAMONDX" folder, I believe that's where the eamon dilux is
located. However, when launching install.exe, I come across a message
stating that the dos system does not support full screen mode. How else do
I
run it? Even if I manage to run it, will screen readers only read the
output

of your command or will it read the whole screen?

Hi.

Eamon delux is a stand alone program and you shouldn't need to run an
emulator or download the eamon cd in order to run it, that's one of
it's main advantages, that and it includes some handy tools like the
character editer.

I haven't actually tried running the original eamon games with an emulator
yet, especially sinse the main hall is quite often graphical,
though the games are obviously stil text based.

I have been considdering that sinse there have been several eamons which
look really good but aren't included in Eamon delux at the moment. I'm not
unfortunately sure whatshould be done about this though.

Hello

I've tried out the eamon delux, launching the world.exe file from the
full

cd that I downloaded. It seems that most of the time, instead of reading
only the output of my command, jaws reads the whole screen! How do I stop
jaws from doing this (if it is possible) and how do I use the a2
emulator?

I think that from what I've read, it's the best emulator in terms of
working with screen-readers.
