Hi Nicol,
I can answer that. Although you can initate and make trades with the
computer (sometimes he even accepts) the computer player will never offer
you a trade.

Hi Jim and all
There is something that I have been wondering about your monopoly game,

While playing against the computer or against one or more players, there
is

a menu option to buy, sell or trade.
My question is, if I play a game against the computer, the way you
programmed the game, is there a chance that the computer player might
want

to sell, buy or trade with me?

Just give him the price double or more the computer paid for.
Like example, $100 for this blue property, you will need to give him $200
for him to even consider a deal.
For exchange of property, if you got one full monopoly of red or yellow,
you will need to exchange another colour monopoly, a higher value for him to
even consider.
I play one of the sighted folks version call Infogrames Interactive Monopoly
which the computer will counter trade or ask you for something which you
might not give.
It's a pitty you cant just play it on your own with your screen reader or
just tabbing just your keyboard since some of the function need to access by

I quite love the audio of it. As it will have the demolishing sound of

Subject: [Audyssey] Please help spread the following information

For all of my blind friends who have a interest in flying your own
airplanes.
I ask that you read the letter that's down below and help to spread the word
about a new blind friendly flight simulator.
Are you a interested blind person who if were sighted knows that they'd be
flying in a airplane as a pilot for a career?
Are you a retired pilot because you are now blind and are
unable to continue to fly in your chosen career?
If you're a retired pilot because you're blind, would you like to get back
into the cockpit once again and to also share your knowledge and experiences
to keep this program as realistic as possible?
Then be sure to read the letter that's down below my intro letter;
it includes all of the information that you'll want to know about the IYP
flight
simulator application that's blind friendly.

If this interests you, or if you know of a fellow blind person that this
might
interest as well, then please read the letter and it's attachment down below
and then pass it along to as many people that you
know might be interested.
I think once you test fly the program you'll be as hooked as this blind
pilot love to be is.

Also for tips and tricks we have our own blind pilots mailing list as well.
If you'd like to subscribe to that list go to
  b...@googlegroups.com

I thank you and now here's the letter that I'd like everyone to read and
help circulate to every interested blind person who wished that they could
fly.

From Pacific Feelings Media, Corporate Office
36025 Empress Drive
Abbotsford, BC V3G 1L2, Canada

This letter, dated September 2010, is directed to organizations that help
the blind to enjoy life to the fullest, and to all interested blind or
visually impaired people.

I'm a blind pilot, but at one time in the past I used to fly the real
thing. I love your program. It has given me back some part of my old life
that I was forced to leave behind thanks for giving me back my wings.
Roy - Australia

The above quote was sent to us by one of the many pilots who are using our
program, It's Your Plane (IYP), in conjunction with Microsoft's Flight
Simulator, to enable them to fly a variety of aircraft using their
computers.

We hope to encourage more blind and visually impaired (BVI) people to join
the ranks of aviation fans around the world, thereby enabling them to
participate and contribute to our passion in a way no one would have thought
possible just a few short years ago. In this regard, I would like to arrange
to meet with your group.

In case you are not familiar with flight simulation, let me explain.
Microsoft developed a program called Flight Simulator to give people the
virtual thrill of flying from their home computers.

Robert Cezar, the owner of Pacific Feelings Media, originally came up with
the idea of using Microsoft's program together with speech recognition
software, to help novice users fly their aircraft in a more realistic
way, by communicating with an extremely intelligent Co-Pilot named
Michelle (there's also Mike).

The application is called It's Your Plane (IYP). This venture gained
momentum and a slew of extra features was added to the IYP software. At that
time, the flight sim hobby was not an option for the majority of blind
people. This was soon to change!

A little over a year ago, a small group of young, blind people approached us
and told us that they were using our software to fly. After many hours of
discussion, and trial and error, we released the next version of IYP that
was more tailored towards blind and visually impaired pilots. Many more BVI
pilots have joined our user base since then, and the development has never
stood still. At least once a month we have introduced new features to help
the BVI group get a better understanding of what it takes to fly and
navigate an aircraft. We have a forum that caters specifically to blind
people in which many BVI users help each other, and we are proud of the fact
that they are getting more and more knowledgeable about this hobby.

I am another blind pilot enthusiast who really is getting back into it
after a year off because no software existed that I could use before It's
Your Plane came around. I do want to sincerely thank you so very much for
your efforts and your willingness to work with us who are blind and giving
us

Just give him the price double or more the computer paid for.
Like example, $100 for this blue property, you will need to give him
$200

for him to even consider a deal.
For exchange of property, if you got one full monopoly of red or
yellow,
you will need to exchange another colour monopoly, a higher value for
him to

even consider.
I play one of the sighted folks version call Infogrames Interactive
Monopoly

which the computer will counter trade or ask you for something which you
might not give.
It's a pitty you cant just play it on your own with your screen reader
or
just tabbing just your keyboard since some of the function need to
access by

a mouse.
I quite love the audio of it. As it will have the demolishing sound of
buildings if you sell it or building construction when you buy it.

 Hello.

I'm sorry if this seems picky or overy unpleasant, but I was wondering if
you might please alter the name settings of your E-mail.

I am Dark, aka Luke, audiogames.net admin, and have been using the handnle

dark on line for roughly 10 years, - five of them on this list.

Of course if this were a forum or other web service, similar names would
not be permited, so in view of that fact I was wondering if you might
considder altering the name settings of your E-mail to read something
 other than dark.

As I said, appologies for this, I just obviously wouldn't want people to
get the two of us confused.

 All the best,

 dark,

 audiogames.net admin.

Hi Michael,
Two things. Firstly, try to make more sense, none of us had the slightless
idea what that question meant. And secondly... You control multiple things
on shades ofdoom? Please explain. However, I shall answer your question.

In Lone Wolf, you control your sub. It Tank Commander, you mainly control
your tank, but in a few sectors, you also control, or at least keep track
of, a few other friendly tanks. And, could you work on your typing or use a
spell checker or something to make your messages easier to understand? It
only takes a few seconds and very little effort to do so. Thanks.

Re: [Audyssey] gma games question

2010-09-13 Thread dark
I believe michael simply meant to ask whether gma tank commander was a
stratogy battle game with each player controlling many units at one time
similar to time of conflict, or an individual action game controlling a
single character ala shades of doom.

To answer, gma tank commander is mostly just you in your own tank rolling
around and blasting through enemies, however in some later levels you do get
to give orders to 6 other tanks, though these are more like helpers
than actual units you control, and the orders you can give are very simple,
things like follow or stay stil.

Hi Michael,
In Lone Wolf you command a single submarine against various enemy
surface ships, submarines, etc. In Tank Commander for the most part
you command a single tank, blasting your way through the enemy front
lines, but around levels 5 and 6 you do get to command other tanks as
well.
By the way, could you please proofread your messages? They are a
little difficult to read.

Cheers!

Re: [Audyssey] gma games question

2010-09-13 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Michael,
No. Those are all different games. If you really want a description of
what each game is about head over to
http://www.gmagames.com
and read the descriptions on the website. You'll get better answers
there than asking the list a question like the one below.

Cheers!

Re: [Audyssey] lone wolf user written missions

2010-09-13 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Michael,
Well, as the name implies those are a collection of user written
missions for the full version of Lone Wolf. One of the best features
of Lone Wolf is it comes with a parcer that allows you to write and
compile new missions for the game. I've written several myself over
the years.

Cheers!

Re: [Audyssey] MOTA Question

2010-09-13 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Hayden,
Pretty well I guess. The 3d version of MOTA is basically ready except
I still have to finish writing the user's guide for it, fix a couple
of miner bugs, and create a setup file for it. In short there isn't a
lot that needs to be done to release the 3d version of MOTA, but I
just haven't found time to get the beta ready for release.

Cheers!

 Hi Thomas,

Not to sound impatient. I think you know what the question is. How is the 3D
FPS version of MOTA coming along?

 Best Regards,

Re: [Audyssey] martial arts games

2010-09-13 Thread clement chou
None that are flat out martial arts... for that category, games for the
blind are pretty much non-existent. The only martial arts games are
mainstream games for consoles.

Re: [Audyssey] martial arts games

2010-09-13 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Michael,
Well, I'm a fraid you are out of luck there. There aren't any martial
arts games for the blind that I'm aware of. For that kind of thing you
will have to play console games like Mortal Kombat that are
semi-accessible.

Cheers!
