I believe Brian meant strywise. This is supposed to be the sequel to treasure hunt, and was originally called Cloning Malace two and had a different gameplay system entirely. It was suposed to be another fps, but is now beingg overhalled into a flight-based game. - Original Message - From: "Hayden Presley" To: "'Gamers Discussion list'" Sent: Monday, September 20, 2010 2:44 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] to the maker of tournament Hi Brian, Um...I don't think so. Re: [Audyssey] pogo stick
An original pogo stick is a physical outdoors item, where you stand on a sort of small platform, while holding on the top of a bar it's attached to, and then using jumping actions, the spring loaded base lets you sort of bounce around - quite a good full body workout, and most largeish toy stores should sell them this side. Re: [Audyssey] Announcing Support for 2 more Devices
Hi, That's exactly my problem as well. Currently I've upgraded the Genesis Engine using SFML and various other open source cross-platform libraries and can compile it on Linux and am reasonably sure the latest engine is Mac OS compatible as well, but the problem is I don't have a Mac. So I either have to lend my source code to someone to do the port, something i'm not certain about doing, or have to come up with the money to buy a Mac to do the port. Alternatively I could install Mac OS 10.6 through VMware Player and compile it virtually. Which would work, but anyway you cut it it is an expensive and risky thing. That's not including the cost of trying to obtain and compile ports for Apple IPods, IPhones, and other devices which should be a simple port but expensive to do. Bottom line if the community truely want thes devices supported we need a large donation to purchase the equipment and software to do the job. Smile. On 9/18/10, Louis Bryant wrote: > Hi. Re: [Audyssey] pogo stick
Hi Nicol, No...A Pogo Stick is a kids toy not a game. Basically it is a long wooden poll, with a wooden crossbar at the bottom for a kid to put his/her feet on it, and then there is usually a big spring at the very bottom of the poll to bounce on. How it works is a person stands on the Pogo Stick and bounces up and down on it while moving foward, backwards, left, right, etc. Some Pogo Sticks allow you to do stunts on them. As for finding them in South Africa I have no idea. I don't live there so can't say where to find one. In fact, I haven't seen one in years here in the USA, but that doesn't mean Toys R Us and other such stores don't carry them. Just haven't looked for one. As far as pogo sticks and games goes I can't think of any computer games that are accessible where you get to hop around on a pogo stick. My son has a Curious George game where George bounces around on a pogo stick while collecting things, but that's a little kids game. Like kids ages 3 and over. I don't think that wold be your style even if it were accessible. No, in terms of games goes I've heard of Pogo Stick contests like Pogo Stick races, jumping contests, stunt contests, etc but not any computer games of that sort that I know of. Cheers!
