HThat would make sense. I have had some human fighters with
their armor skills maxed out, and I didn't find it all that useful a
strategy for Entombed. Mainly because they didn't get to fight any more
than a weaker character meaning all my weaker characters often get
killed first leaving me with a well armored fighter to do the job at the
end. When the entire purpose of building up his/her armor skill was to
protect weaker characters. G

One common suggestion made on the entombed list is to have a
front/back rank system. Characters on the front are %75 likely to get

that's where you put your mages and archers), I really hope Jason will

Sinse the new addon has random generating missions, a new weapon the

it will be something really special, even better than the original game.

facet of this is the ability to turn your character. If your
touchpad
is off, you won't be able to turn them. If there are no
navigation

cues in the area such as people or ambient sounds, you can check
whether they turn by pressing w to announce your current heading,
sliding your finger along the touchpad, and pressing w again to
get a
new announcement. Since it is unlikely that you can turn
completely
around with one swipe, the messages should be different. If they
are

not, then your touchpad is off, and you will need to read your
laptop's instruction manual to find out how to turn it on again,
though it may be possible to do so through the mouse settings
function

of your control panel.

Re: [Audyssey] Swamp Rumor control

2012-05-18 Thread john
The problem with this is that people will (myself included) sit
around parts with a longbow and own zombies for a couple hours.
Yea, there's a couple hundred k rep for me, only about 10k spent.
I would, however, like to get rep (if not exp) for killing
zombies in missions. Perhaps the standard rep as it is in map
one, but I feel that the people who get 730 kills in a mission
should get something more than the guy who only got 150.

same this week, so looking forward to see you. Scriptures is below:

1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have
obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our
Savior Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of
Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain
unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to
glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by
these all of you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to
virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge willful restrain; and to willful restrain patience; and to
patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. (o.
agape)
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that all of you
shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus
Christ.
9 But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see far off, and has
forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Not all games will recognize both sticks, in my experience. For example,
as you've already said all the BSC titles don't, but, for instance, top
speed 3 seems to recognize it just fine.
Also when you're playing older games I'd strongly suggest flipping the
switch to direct input (the left option), because direct input emulation
under xInput doesn't work with everything like the bottom triggers being
analog or force feedback. The buttons do change their numbers though, so
you may need to remap when you do this. That having been said I'd just
suggest you talk to Munawar about it so he can check how TDV handles the
right analog.

Hi Bryan,

Yeah, I know, but its totally unrealistic. If a person loses a leg they
aren't going to be able to stand there and have an ax in one hand and a
sword in the other as though he has two feet to stand on. At a minimum
that character would need a cane or something to help prop him or her up.

The funny thing is that getting a leg bitten or lopped off doesn't really
affect gameplay much, at least not beyond making it impossible for you to

Re: [Audyssey] Swamp Rumor control

2012-05-18 Thread Dallas O'Brien
hia, dennis, yeah i know its bad. and i agree. don't hold back on
stopping them by banning or any other way you feel would be useful in
stopping them. the missions are no harder, and i can say this from
experience. after all, i am the one that normally does all the dam
work while they sit around and whine!
so i think i would notice if a mission were harder. lol
you know, on such topic, i think its time i start going in to
missions, and picking up 5 crates, ... and thats it. protesting
picking up more till the other have found at least the next 60 or 70
percent. lol. getting sick of them relying on me totally when i go
with them.
kai i think has been doing the same. maybe i am just to nice for my
own good. ehehe

2012-05-18 Thread dark
Oh great, more work for the site, - that is to say oh great! more games
to put on the site :D.

Seriously, it's handy when people can host games and I'll be glad to see
about updating links and hosting info.

Re: [Audyssey] 2 question about entombed...

2012-05-18 Thread dark

Hi Tom.

It also actually makes armour skills pretty pointless, sinse if your well
armoured character will not be getting attacked anymore than your less
armoured ones, what's the point in armour? you might as well expend the
points in attack skills and hope to drop the enemy before he/she attacks
you.

One common suggestion made on the entombed list is to have a front/back rank
system. Characters on the front are %75 likely to get hit, while characters
on the back have a penalty to meelee attacks (so that's where you put your
mages and archers), I really hope Jason will either add this option or do
something similar in his next game.

Beware the grue!

[Audyssey] Entombed questions - spoilers

2012-05-18 Thread Keith "Stormcloud" Steinbach
Spoiler within...

I purchased the full version of Entombed and noticed that when i get to
Twilight Town, the bizarre is now accessible. I do not understand it though.
It lists the objects i own, and have a certain number of something called trade
coins. When I click on one object, it seems that internet explorer opens and I
get an error message. Not sure what the BBizarre is and what it can do for me.

Second, when I was first playing the free version, I had access to the human,
ogre, elf, half and half elf races. Then, during one adventure, I found
something called a Goblin card, after i killed a goblin mage. When I was
killed, I started a new game, and I was given the option of making a goblin
character. Does this apply to all other races in the game, like the gnoll and
the kobold?

When in the Twilight general store, I sometimes come across scrolls with spells
on them that are not available to the open jobs I have access to to start with.
Namely, Spark, dark light (or something like that), mystify, etc. Are these
spells associated with jobs that I have to find access to by playing the game
though?

The first time I reached Twilight Town, after killing the wolves trying to get
into the town, I gained access to some sort of orb from a dead guard. It does
not come up after I was killed and started a new game. It says something about
needing to be charged, and then it will teleport me back to town. Do I have to
find the thing again?

Thanks
