[Audyssey] smuglers5 bug visible window is not modal
Hi all. Urgent issue. I am getting said message in subject line after battling my way through the ranks to 1st lt, while facing larger ships than myself I have aheavy corvet with all the upgrades I can afford. And after spending a laarge ammount on memmory transfers from saturn I am exploring space doing odd jobs. I am also taking missions to recoop my large spending to buy some new tech upgrades. Unfortunately this journy is happily disrupted by this message which freezes the game and makes me have to end the task. I have sent a couple messages to the support address on the neilsbauergames site, but didn't get a responce to the first one. I was a bit vague in this so sent another one with my saves. here is the link of my data, I can confirm this on my system but can others confirm this. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1407689/Smugglers5.zip there are a couple saves in there mem1 is most current sol1 is from yesterday. If loading sol1, you need to go to mars to end a mission I have, mem1 is all set though I have no cash at the current time on me. I'm not sure I entirely agree with the thirty-day thing, but I do agree that 20 bucks is more than reasonable for a yearly subscription. Te problem is tat fourteen days isn't necessarily long enough for every single person to decide if they want to subscribe and, indeed, that may turn some newbies away, even thhough the account isn't actally deleted until thirty days after evacation. The recap of the story hasn't been translated yet, so you won't get anything unfortunately. Start a new game, enter your name, and then tell it you don't want to recap. The link I sent was only the executable... but if you downloaded the game from the audiogames.net forum it might not be the latest version. When you pressed e, did the logo skip and go to the menu? Or did nothing happen? If nothing happened, then you have to update the game. Start the game, press down twice, and press enter. It'll tell you there's an update, then press enter again. It should download and you'll hear a pitch that rises in pitch. Hi mitch, I've downloaded this game but like you I couldn't get the speech to work, I had followed the instructions that others gave you but it still didn't work. Everything is in Japanese. But now that you have speech... it should be in english since you downloaded the latest version.
