Hi Lori. Is there any chance you'd be prepared to help me get started? I'm a techie in my own right and I know my way around a computer, but my skills are homed for troubleshooting and maintenance and I'm not very conversant with a lot of the computer applications for recording, I'm also terrible with shortcuts and having an IPhone doesn't help matters as I prefer the touchscreen interface for interacting with my device as aposed to memorising dozens of keyboard shortcuts. I'll download sound tap, I've of course heard of NCH software as I used their Express Rip cd ripping tool years ago to digitise my then massive CD collection. Hi, I'll try and help with any questions you may have, but it's pretty symple, all you do after enstalling the software is open soundtap and tab until you hear it say also record using your mike, then press spacebar to check the box then tab again until you hear it say start recording. To start recording hit spacebar, and to stop recording hit spacebar a 2nd time. Remember to go into the options menu using the alt key, up and down arrows to find the correct menu, then tab until you find the output device and make sure your mike is sellected.
