Re: [Audyssey] Free 1000 miles games for the Iphone that areaccessible?

2015-09-23 Thread Travis Siegel
The original game is called Milleborne, and it's a french card game. I
don't know who owns the copyright for it in the us (probably parker
brothers or someone similar) but there are loads of clones calling them
selves 1000 miles, or something similar.
There's no reason why there couldn't be an audio version as long as it's
not called milleborne, all should be just fine.

2015-09-23 Thread Eleanor

Hi Katie,
If you go to our website, www.7128.com, at the bottom of our main page,
you can find our Top 25 Websites for gamers who are blind. That list has
direct URL's for each website listed and includes all the websites we
can find that either produce games, provide information about accessible
games, or provide help such as this website (which is listed on our top
25). Our (commercial) games are also listed there. We update this list
annually and try to find any new websites that have information about
accessible games.

Re: [Audyssey] U-Mart, a new business strategy game.

2015-09-23 Thread jeremy
I rarely post about updates here on audyssey (it's easier to do that on the
audiogames.net forum), but this one seemed worth it.  There was a bug that
caused people to be unable to open their saved games if their computer used
certain regional settings.  I have solved that bug and the fix is posted.  The
best news is that if you found yourself unable to open a saved game, the file
itself is fine and you'll be able to open it after grabbing this tiny update.
Enjoy.

Changes from 0.5d to 0.6

- Fixed a bug that caused saved games not to open, depending on the regional
settings of the person's computer.

Re: [Audyssey] Katie

2015-09-23 Thread Shaun Everiss

Well I'd start with audiogames.net true there are a lot of games on there.
The forum has all the indie games in existance.
In fact a lot more games exist on there than here.

Hi Dorothy.

Last I checked, Bigfish was a reseller of other people's graphical
independently produced games, and had no accessible games whatsoever I'm
afraid.

This is one reason why I'd personally recommend people who are looking
for accessible games first start with the pcs fantastic games list,
whitestick.co.uk, Applevis and (at risk of self trumpet blowage),
audiogames.net, sinse I can tell you from personal experience finding a
website full of games with really exciting descriptions and then finding
them utterly unplayable is down right depressing :D.

This isn't of course to say people shouldn't wander off the beaten track
and experiment, after all we've had some great finds from such in the
past, just that if people are simply looking for games to play rather
than out hunting new titles, it'll likely be a much less disappointing
experience to start with the devil you know so to speak :D.

Plus of course, once you've got a good grasp of what is! out there, it
puts you in a better position to go hunting.

All the best,

Dark.
