[Audyssey] The Freedom chat LoRD or similar
Hi! Just wanted to ask a question. In some years ago the IRC network Freedom Chat ran a rendition of LoRD (Legend of the Red Dragon). Unfortunately it has been in nonexistence since last year (or so). Do you know if the game is still available somewhere as a mud version? Probably not; The FreedomChat network is still somewhat up and running but the old gameserv has been removed. If not, do you know any LoRD MUDs which are playable? (I mean not *tons* of ASCII graphics) for SJAWS users? Thanks Tuukka --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. I have tried and found it to be totally unplayable. I am stuck in the menu because I can't select any item there (of course the items don't speak when I move the focus on them). It would be cool if someone would start a project like this but as an audiogame. My current programming scills don't allow me to do so, but when I have learned enough I at least try something, maybe. Re: [Audyssey] Games for your mobile device are finally here
Yeah, I would also go with DirectPlay. But the problem is that it is not probably adapted to the Windows mobile OS. Second game, 45 planes, can't remember score. Not bad! Btw, your past scores can be found in the puppyrec.txt file, which is in the c:\program files\kitchensinc folder. Stephen wrote: Hi. sometimes I'll be playing, and I hear a plane coming, I press the right ctrl key and it says left and 0. or 0 and left, I move left, and it says 0 and 0, and then I use my machine gun, but nothing seems to happen, and then I hear a Doh!! and then I crash. Is this a bug? Probably not (although I haven't tested the newest version of puppy 1 yet). The enemy is just trying to avoid you, for example as you shoot it moves a bit belo of you. You have to constantly keep track with right ctrl or space where the enemy is. Ok. I checked this game out and... This is fantastic!! Thanks for the great work! I got addicted. First I got only zero points but when I got the clue I finally got 17664 points and with just two planes (I saved the game for later playing). [Audyssey] A kind of introduction
Sorry for the bit late post (I have already participated in the discussion, normally my first post is an introduction.) So... Well, my name is Tuukka (as you might have already noticed :)), guys who are hanging on the audiogames.net forum know me as BlueScreen. I'm 14 years old (my birthday is on march 14th so I'm 15 in next year). I live in Finland. My hobbies are playing piano and keyboards (I own a roland juno-g and EXR-5 currently), and playing around with computers (programming, creating music, chatting with friends etc). My favourite games are Judgement day, Troopanum 2, pipe 2, Top Speed 2, Tarzan Junior, Kitchensinc games (Baseball, homer, casino) and various other games kind of those. I am also learning to play SoundRts, althoug I'm not in to strategic games so much. I'm also learning the basics of audio game programming with cool basic. I don't know if some messages of this thread are not off-topic, but according to the subject and Thomas's messages this thread seems to be definitively off-topic, and off-topic discussion is against the list guidelines.
