hi dark i have never had anyone to show me things since i have been blind so i have just tried things but with mush i have speedwalking which makes things a lot quicker and with vip i have never got to grips with it but what is the sound packs like for say materiamagic thanks for replying and have a good honeymoon wayne On 6/15/2016 4:16 PM, dark wrote: Hmmm, what is the problem with Vip? One thing I liked is it just works. You go to quick connect, type in mud info and your done, or if you want to create a character for the menu, you go to character create, select the mud, and type in your character's name and password and select if you want auto login, ie, the mud writes the name and password in for you. I've always found it much easier than mush, accept for MushZ, and even then I miss some of the output functions and such with sapi. it's probably a personal thing though and if your used to mush fare enough. hello thanks for that i did not know there was a donation room in vermarken so where is it please On 1/11/2017 9:52 AM, Jude DaShiell wrote: Check the vemarken donation room and the donation room at the Pellam Refugee camp healer's tent then one south. When you do that use list and take item to pick stuff up. Once you have picked something up, do the identify item command and read what it has to say. Also use the compare command to get yourself into better equipment and weapons. One warning about donation rooms, their code is slightly defective. You can take a weapon from a donation room or a piece of armor and try wielding a weapon or wearing a piece of armor and get told you can't use that yet. You may be able to use it later but carrying around lots of stuff you can't use won't be helpful at all. So once you take, try wielding or wearing and see if that works. If it doesn't you can donate the item again and move on. The shops need more gold than you're now likely to have so until you get yourself a good bank balance you'll probably do well to only go in them and check out items. You can compare an item you're interested in in a shop without buying it. As you gain levels and skills as a thief buying very often will really become optional. I cannot remember raul's exact words, but I can remember he used the word rambo. he said something like: "some people just go into the room and shoot like rambo." in the way raul used the word rambo, he insinuated that rambo shoots without strategy. and here is where I politely wish to disagree with raul. friends of mine who share my flat with me, have watched the rambo movies twice and they clearly told me that rambo indeed does use strategies when shooting. they told me that rambo is very wake up, he does not just run and shoot without strategy. He definitley does use strategy. I do not expect of raul to correct that bit in his recording, I just thought of bringing this up. its interesting to me how raul sees rambo. Bgt is a ssimple scripting language, meaning that you can control exactly what is happening at all times. The range of functions that are in the engine will of course grow over time, in order to allow for creation of as many different types of games as possible. The way that the engine is designed it is very easy to add new features to it, and so anything that is demanded by enough customers will definitely be added in. Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Hi. This question is for all the game makers/programmers out there and I'm not one, sorry. I was browsing through the web last night because I learnt about some accessible hand held games that were originally produced by the Hazbro company. Hazbro has an electronic hand held trivia game available right now. Plus you can download questions to the unit. Is there any way possible to contract with Hazbro to put voice chips in those games so blind people could play them? Or contact them to see if it can be done by one of our programmers to make the games accessible? Maybe, someone could buy one and take a look at it and see if something like this is even attemptable to try. Anyway, just thought I'd ask because trivia is questions and answers and not graphics. Hi have you tried materiamagic is what you described and there are a lot of very useful players that will give you all the help you need -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of dark Sent: Tuesday, December 1, 2015 9:41 AM To: Gamers Discussion list Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Muds was Re: Alter Aeon was Re: Alter Aeon December Bash I'm quite happy to play without sounds, though if your looking for sounds in a mud Lindsay you should try the mushZ alter pack. much as I'm usually a big fan of Vipmud, the mushZ cliant is the one exception, sinse it turns alteraeon into virtually an audiogam. Go to http://www.mush-z.org/ to find out about it. You don't need anything else, the client will install and run from there, just install it run the update to check you've got all the latest sounds etc, read the readme and have fun. In terms of muds I personally go for exploring and activities and stuff to do, one reason I've been looking at other less usual muds. Rp really doesn't bother me in a mud, sinse if I'm going to rp with human players I'd prefer a gm and a table todo it in sinse no program however complex can equal the creativity of a real human gm, and I'd much rather play with 2-5 other people and be the heroes and have our own game than be one character in a world of millions anyway. Personally i like muds with good activities and quests to do and places to explore and wander around, indeed in one post on the Alteraeon blog a few years back where Dentin described the various player types, the solo explorer is pretty much me. I suspect that were the games available I probably wouldn't play mmorpgs or muds at all, just restrict myself to story driven single player rpgs, but as those aren't going I'll go for exploration based muds with good and interesting activities and quests and environments.
