Yup not saying that at all, all I'm saying is that if there's another
way that makes it easier to acomplish the same thing then perhaps people
should have access to that as well.

work in this game is it fixed or what drives it exactly? Can you see
other drivers on the road? As in other players? Or does it really feel

[Audyssey] Calling all truckers.

2009-06-15 Thread The Kolesar Brothers
Hi to one and all, from Ron and Leader Dog Boz. Jim Kitchen's truck driving
game is the collest game around that has sound effects written into it.
But if you're looking for a great online game to play? Look no further.
The web page address to go out to to sign up at is
www.trukz.com
No I didn't misspell the word truck.
The web page is from over seas. Right now I can't remember the country. But
truck is spelled with a Z and once again it is spelled T R U K Z.
Just like any role playing game. Each decision you make has good points and
bad points. You can drive for a company or you can drive as a indepent
driver.
I recomment driving for a company and the company I recommend driving for is
the Big Mountain Express. For all U.S drivers that test drive this truck.
I have some TXT files that no U.S. driver shhould be without.
Matter of fact I found the info for this cool online game from this list.
So there's my two cents for this morning.

Re: [Audyssey] Calling all truckers.

2009-06-15 Thread The Kolesar Brothers
It is a truck driving simulator.
The objective is to earn money and to have as least break downs and tickets
as possible.
It is a pretty cool game and is played via the keyboard.
For JAWS users you will need your navigational keys turned on.
You will be doing a bit of page up and or down and up arrowing and down
arrowing. Also hitting the letter F and V will help while playing the game.
The web page once again is
www.trukz.com
So for all U.S. Drivers I have some txt files that no U.S. driver should be
without.
Also there are good and bad points for being a driver for a company or a
independent driver. The choice is yours to make.
I would recommend the Big Mountain Express.
So hope that helps.

Re: [Audyssey] Calling all truckers.

2009-06-15 Thread Constantine

Hi,

Basically, the objective is to drive a truck (text based). You have fetigue
points as you drive and if it gets to ten, that means to pull off the road
for the night. Each hour one point is deducted so you can be back on the
road by morning. The game time is in realtime, so it will take eight real
hours to get your points to 0 if you had nine.

You also have what's called driver rating. This rating system will let you
buy more things the higher your rating is - a double trailer indorcement,
fuel filter, etc etc, so you can make more money.

You, of course, make money. Grins.

When you start out, you'll need to buy a truck. Pick whichever one looks the
cleanest - I think it was the 1978 ford.

Yes you can. You bid on contracts and such, and you can assign various
people as different things such as contract manager, vice president, and
also give them certain wages. Your company can also pay for any fuel and
repair costs done to a truck, these are all your choices.

Hi,

Basically, the objective is to drive a truck (text based). You have
fetigue
points as you drive and if it gets to ten, that means to pull off the
road
for the night. Each hour one point is deducted so you can be back on the

road by morning. The game time is in realtime, so it will take eight
real
hours to get your points to 0 if you had nine.

You also have what's called driver rating. This rating system will let
you
buy more things the higher your rating is - a double trailer
indorcement,
fuel filter, etc etc, so you can make more money.

You, of course, make money. Grins.

When you start out, you'll need to buy a truck. Pick whichever one looks
the
cleanest - I think it was the 1978 ford.

It is a truck driving simulator.
The objective is to earn money and to have as least break downs and
tickets
as possible.
It is a pretty cool game and is played via the keyboard.
For JAWS users you will need your navigational keys turned on.
You will be doing a bit of page up and or down and up arrowing and

down

arrowing. Also hitting the letter F and V will help while playing the
game.
The web page once again is
www.trukz.com
So for all U.S. Drivers I have some txt files that no U.S. driver

should

be
without.
Also there are good and bad points for being a driver for a company or

a

independent driver. The choice is yours to make.
I would recommend the Big Mountain Express.
So hope that helps.
