Granted I'm not a wizard at trig, but I know enough to know you have to get the angle/direction the object is traveling in order to calculate its trajectory. Well, anyway, go enjoy some sunshine and sand. As for me I'm looking at possibly 16 inches of snow before Tuesday. So before too long instead of making sand angels on the beach I'll be making snowmen, snow people if you like that better, in the cold freezing snow. Cheers! Hi Cara, Ahem...I was going to say the formula simply wouldn't work if you didn't get the angle the player was actually heading in. Cheers! These methods should all return normal vectors anyway, so you shouldn't need to normalize. I just did a few tweaks as that's all they seem to need. changed z to y for consistency.
