[Audyssey] Further labels on core exiles. Any thoughts?

2009-12-02 Thread Darren Harris
I was going to put this out to the main forums there but I really wasn't
sure about this. Maybe Dark knows a little more before anything is said so
can shed a little more light on it. Basically when travelling around, are
there certain visual tags on the buttons of the systems that tell you either
that you have a mission in said system, or you or a guild member has
property in said system? If so would it be possible to get these things
labeled as well? Seeming as Dark seems to be the person who's in regular
contact with coops could this be something that's discussed?

Re: [Audyssey] Further labels on core exiles. Any thoughts?

2009-12-02 Thread dark
the short answer Darren is no, there are no visual lables on the
systems at all, sinse mission information can be found easily from the top
dropdown menue and for a sighted player the galaxy map can provide a quick
overview of what is where.

A jump drive will directly fly your ship to systems you need to go to on a
mission, but I've not personally tried one of these yet so cannot say
anything about it's accessiblity or not.

what I personally do, is always play with the plotter open in a separate
window, and use it constantly to check routes to systems I am flying to
against what missions or passengers I take, and thus plan my general flight
path out before hand.

usuyally I'll take one mission to a far out floung system, -- use the
plotter to check where I might be going on the way, and fill up on
cargo and passengers which I can deliver en route.

Once i have some space, I take a similar far distant mission and so on.

Because the galaxies are basically set out in a circle so you can go from
the sphere to the forge to the anvil to veirk-pa and back to the sphere
again, this is generally quite easy.

Hth.

Beware the grue!
