Re: [Audyssey] MOTA beta four impressions.

Really love the beta. Just wanted to report a very small bug which has
been in from the beginning. When you die and the game ends, it sounds
like the torch your burning before it happens is still burning when the
main screen comes up. Thanks,

Mike

Hi Kevin,
Thanks, but that's a mute point now. I disabled the oxygen feature of
the engine as too many people were making a deal over it. I finally
decided to just say forget it and move on.

I think it kind of sounds like a flooded room with an odd waterfall thing
in the middle of it. but it definitely doesn't sound like its under water.
It'd be neat if the two could be differentiated between, you could have
above water swimming, and under water swimming, for example swimming
through a completely flooded passage. Given that the temple is built at
different levels there'd be different levels of flooding in different rooms
and coridors. Just a thought.

No, that isn't a bug. I had to add that little restriction to fix a
problem with the joystick and mouse. Without that restriction when using
a joystick/mouse the game would simply continuously jump until Angela hit
a wall, landed in a fire, or whatever. The player absolutely had little

Hi,
Good point. I've been meaning to add an underwater sound effect to the
game but haven't. In any case the point has been well made that she
could swim on top of the water so just disabling/removing the oxygen
depletion is probably the most logical thing to do in hthis case.

Smile.

I found some things in MOTA that I just wanted to ask if they were bugs or not.
1. I can not jump twice in a row. I have to take a step after jumping the first
time in order to jump again. Is this a bug?
2. When you draw the sword, sometimes it doesn't play the correct sounds again

3. Why does Angela lose oxygen in the water? I thought it was supposed to be a
