It's an arcade action side scroller type game, though you do also swim up and down in the river where you have to grab as much treasure from a river bed as possible while avoiding ghosts and monsters. A fun collection style game with some unique elements and nice for a quick blast, plus it's got some of the most evil game over music ever! :d. Beware the grue! Hi Pitermach, Thanks for bringing the pause issue to my attention. I do not seem to have these issues on my end, although it does take about five seconds to accept input after the game is unpaused. I will certainly look into this. As for the page up and page down keys, you have to tap these rapidly for the volume to change. I just recently noticed that Blast Bay games were the only games that used minor corded orchestral music whenever you lose. Anyways I guess I can customize the sounds. Hi Sarah, That was a mistake about the keystrokes. I was so busy trying to get the storyline in place that I totally forgot about that, so I may as well tell you now. It's simply up and down allows you to dive, left and right allow you to swim. When you find coins and keys you will automatically pick them up. Hope this helps. The ghosts take away resources, such as airtime, points and strength, while the growling monsters will kill you instantly. Every time you pick up a coin, the monster/monsters will move faster. OK, I did a methodical sweep. I happened to start off far left, so I went pretty deep and went completely to the right corner with a few trips to the surface of course and ended the game without being killed and still geting 72 coins and some bonus keys, even if the score wasn't my objective for this round. But still nothing. Something else should be in this game. Something that tells us how dep we are and our location, are we in the center of the field or are we to the left or the right. A way to announce our current position would be helpful here. But still nothing about using the bonus keys. OK for figuring out what a bonus object does, You're right, but because there are three or more different sounds for bonus keys and at last the same amound of coin sounds, for that and for the first time playing, a learn game sounds menu would have been really needed. But about bonuses again: are the things you can get timed or not? Hi Damien, Well, this game would be classified as a side-scroller. Side-scrollers are triditionally 2d with an up, down, left, and right direction which this game has. The concept that side-scrollers are 1d I think comes from games like Super Liam which doesn't employ an up/down virticle axis. well when you are at the booth (you hear a bell, much higher than the one meaning you picked up a key) you can hit enter to make, ur, something, happen. What happens is purely random Some more help. -Coin sounds mean coins. if you hear a constant jingling noise like something falling that's a key. There is also another sound for a key which seems to be in stereo and sounds like a few large keys jingling. a low bell means you've picked a key up. Ghosts. Well, when you hear someone singing/what ever that is, a ghost will show up. If you hear something like a ruff growl kind of like a lion, those ghosts need to be avoided as good as possible, because they will kill you. If you hear another kind of growl which is a cross between an elephant or a dinosaur (best way I can describe it), those willmake you drop coins and may possibly warp you to another part of the river. When you're avoiding don't go left or right. they're too fast if you move that way and will most likely get you. When you're avoiding don't go left or right. they're too fast if you move that way and will most likely get you.
