2012-11-07 Thread Kelly Sapergia

Hi,

Thanks for the responses. If the game is accessible, then that's good enough
for me. I'll probably end up buying it anyway, since I'm always looking for
more games for the iPod. If I do, I'll see if I can record the tutorial with
Voiceover in case anyone else is interested.

Thanks.

2012-11-07 Thread Shannon Dyer
It's actually very accessible. Voiceover reads everything. The game can be a
bit tricky, but it's not due to lack of accessibility.

Hi Kelly,
I didn't record that tutorial. It was done for a sighted customer as it was
a video on youTube.
I'm trying to get my wife to purchase the game as I do not have a iPhone or
iPad yet.
If she gets it, I will try to record it with vo unless someone does it
before me.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the recording of the tutorial for this game. It sounds
interesting, and I'm considering getting this for my iPod Touch, but I
noticed it didn't feature Voiceover during the gameplay parts. As a
result, I couldn't really figure out what was going on at times. Would it
be possible to re-record the tutorial again using Voiceover so we can get
a true demonstration of how accessible it is?

Thanks again.

I didn't listen to the tutorial, but from my experience, having already
played six games, it's highly accessible. And I'm not the best iPhone user
out there, so I suspect others will find it more so.

Hi Folks,
I found an accessible card game ported to iPhone and iPad.
TheCodingMonkeys Lost Cities.
Lost Cities Version: 1.20.
Reiner Knizia takes you on a journey to undiscovered countries and mythical
places.
Compete against a friend, a stranger or one of 4 different computer players,
in a two player Solitaire with an extra portion of suspense.
Lost Cities is a card game played by two players. The objective of the game
is to mount profitable expeditions to one or more of the five lost cities,
(the Himalayas, the Brazilian Rain Forest, the Desert Sands, the Ancient
Volcanos and Neptune's Realm).
You have five lanes, - red, blue, yellow, green and white. You have to place
cards into those lanes.
However, these lanes start at negative value points so you have to build
them up. It's basically a game that ends when the draw stack of cards is
empty.
