Hi. it did work for me this time. I'm not sure what's going on. I tried it on my sony vaio and it wouldn't register it. But it worked no problem on this netbook. I just manually did a find and replace, something about if reg== and replaced it with 0001 ... can't remember, it was years ago that I did it, and the patch worked fine for me when I used it. If you play with c:\windows\tj.js you should be able to just crack it from there. Re: [Audyssey] Dark Destroyer
Hi Michael, Read the file manual.txt in the Dark Destroyer installation directory. If I am not mistaken it is something like c:\pb games\dark destroyer\manual.txt or something like that? In terms of game play it is a Space Invaders like clone. You use the left and right arrow keys to aim, and the space key to fire. There are other commands for bombs, cheat codes, etc which is all in the manual.txt file. Smile. Re: [Audyssey] Dark Destroyer
Hi, Well that really surprises me. When it was on PBGames's site there was documentation on it. Try looking in the PBGames\DarkDestroyer directory and looking for a readme.txt? Perhaps he just hasn't put it as a shortcut or something. Just to summarise, DD is a bit like Troopanum. In fact, it's a lot like Troopanum. You line your ship in the centre and blast it with a few shots by pressing the space bar. HTH. Hi Mark, If you can wait until Tuesday or Wednesday I'll have the new USA Games site uploaded and put back together. The USA Games web site has the Dark Destroyer setup, but it is currently unaccessible thanks to the fact my name servers just got changed today. mark bishop wrote: > Can someone tell me where I can find this dark destroyer? > Mark Bishop > - Original Message - > From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Gamers" > Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2008 5:31 AM > Subject: [Audyssey] trupenam 2 versus dark destroyer > > >> Just from playing the demo of trupenam i have gathered that its much more >> comfortable than dark destroyer. [Audyssey] dark destroyer
Has anyone been able to beat dark destroyer? I think its impossible to beat the game. Initially my computer had a much older mother board, so back then I could easily beat the game with no ships landing, the ships was coming very slowly so beating the game was a piece of cake, but now that I upgraded to a 1.7 gb celeron mother board, dark destroyer just seems impossible. The ships land smuch faster. And you know what? I feel bad for bragging with my blind friends in south Africa that I beat dark destroyer, they are all jealous, and now I realize that I only managed to beat the game because I had a slow processor. Now I don't stand a chance to beat the game. I think the torgen battle and final fight levels in tj is the same as dark destroyer. I want to rectify a statement that was made on-list long ago. Someone said that if you play 10 games of dark destroyer, you already played all the other accessible space games. I don't agree with that, because in trupenam if the ships comes down instead of raising in volume they raise in pitch. I panic a lot if the ship's volume increases, and in trupenam you can pick up randomized special items and you have to avoid moon rocks while in dark destroyer you only have 5 bombs and you can't pick up randomized special items. I know this from listening to a trupenam review. But I would like to know if anyone managed to beat dd. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org.
