I actually really like the idea of the hand to hand offensive moves being randomly generated. Pounding away at the space bar and hoping luck is on your side seems fitting to the stage of desperation most gamers will be in when they have to fall back on using it. Cool idea. Hi, Best answer is when it is ready. I plan to put out a patch in a couple of days to give you the hand to hand combat and a couple of other miner bug fixes, but as for the full beta 9 release I don't know yet. I'm currently working on the registration system, adding the new levels, and some other important things for beta 9. So it could be a while for beta 9. The way it works is if your weapons are holstered pressing the spacebar will randomly select a punch or kick. It will also randomly generate the amount of damage done by that punch/kick. You'll be able to hear the difference between a punch or kick by the sound when you hit the enemies body. Kicks have a deeper contact sound than the punches. They also do a little more damage than do punches.
