  Hi guys,
If you have only the .net framework 2.0 or 3.0 installed, you will need to
install 1.1 as well for the registration to work. I know it worked with the
demo, but the registration program requires it.
Also, if you have technical issues with the game, please email me off
list, most of the time it is something simple I can answer quickly for you,
and if it is something that everyone needs to know about, I'll post it for
all to see.
  Thanks,

Also in a future version could you make the registration dialog

Re: [Audyssey] rail racer problem

2007-06-20 Thread shaun everiss
I should mention now that if you don't have dotnet 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0
you can do a windows update or if you use auto update you will get them to.
You may have to restart 3 or 4 times when you get dotnet.
if manual, you need to do 1 windows update to get everything, the
next is service packs and the next is all the little things.
And then directx.

If you are updating from 1.1 or 1.0, to 1.3, you need to delete your
config.xml file before running the update. Be sure and back up your
settings in the game before doing this.
This step will no longer be necessary with future updates.

Re: [Audyssey] rail racer problem

2007-07-14 Thread Chris Reagan
Okay this is what I got when I tried to run the roller coaster track. It
loaded but when I started the race the following happened.
GameEngine.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0xca0 (3232), Thread id=0x14c (332).
Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.
OK Cancel
Good luck

Right, we know there is a problem with rollercoaster and the gordge, but
what about others that you have downloaded?

I've had that before and a simple restart solved the problem. You
might have already done it by now but if not try it and write back to

Is this for the full version or the demo? The upgrades are only for the
full version of the game.
If you are upgrading the full version, make sure you unzip the update to
the railr acer folder so all files go in their proper place.
  Later,
  Che

This would be the full version. I unzip the files to my rail racer directory
like it says on the site and the results are the ones I've already
mentioned. For some reason, when I delete the config.xml file, it works
fine. Then when I try to retrieve settings from the web it does it the next
time I try to start it.

Nope, hasn't worked. Like I said, for some reason when the config.xml file
is gone it works fine, and when or if I retrieve settings or make new ones
it works until I exit it and try starting it again.
